Councillor Vacancy

Two vacancies have become available at Princes Risborough Town Council for a Councillor.

 

To be eligible for this role you must be over 18 years and a qualifying citizen of the Commonwealth, the European Community or the Republic of Ireland and an elector, occupy as owner or tenant any land or premises or have a principal place of work within three miles of the parish boundaries. You do not need any formal qualifications to be a councillor; however, these are the attributes the council looks for in a councillor;
• A desire and commitment to contribute to the local community.
• A willingness to stand up and be counted.
• A good sense of humour and a lot of patience.
• Ability and willingness to attend meetings of the council (or the meetings of other local authorities and local bodies) in the evening and events in the evening and at weekends.
