Rainbows is for girls aged 5 to 7. Rainbows learn by doing. They get their hands dirty with crafts, art, cooking and games. They build friendships, learn new things, develop their self-confidence and, most importantly, have fun!

There are 3 Rainbow units in Princes Risborough District:

  • 2nd Monks Risborough (meets on Friday nights) 
  • 1st Monks Risborough (meets on Thursday nights) 
  • 1st Bledlow Ridge (meets on Friday nights)
Brownies is for girls aged 7 to 10. Brownies love exciting adventures and challenges! They go on sleepovers, holidays and day trips; explore other cultures; learn new skills and have adventures outdoors.

There are 4 Brownie units in Princes Risborough District:

  • 4th Princes Risborough (meets on Monday nights) 
  • 1st Princes Risborough (meets on Tuesday nights) 
  • 1st Monks Risborough (meets on Thursday nights) 
  • 1st Bledlow Ridge (meets on Friday nights)
Guides is for girls aged 10 to 14. Guides work together in small groups and learn to choose, plan and run activities themselves. They go on camps and to special events, and can get involved in anything from performing arts to travel to community action projects. The Guide programme is all about new experiences and challenges based around healthy lifestyles; global awareness; celebrating diversity; and skills and relationships.

There are 3 Guide units in Princes Risborough District:

  • 1st Princes Risborough (meets on Tuesday nights) 
  • 2nd Princes Risborough (meets on Thursday nights) 
  • 1st Monks Risborough (meets on Thursday nights)

The Senior Section is for young women aged 14 to 25. The Senior Section is fun and flexible and open to all young women, whether or not they have been members of Girlguiding previously. There are a number of ways you can be involved and the opportunities are immense, from international volunteering to improving your CV. Senior Section members may attend meetings at a Ranger unit, or volunteer as Young Leaders with a unit from another section (e.g. Brownies), or even work towards their Duke of Edinburgh award.
