The Town Council manages our six wonderful parks and gardens from the historic King George V Recreation Ground through to the Stratton Memorial Garden. With each park as unique as it is beautiful, it is the Town Council’s responsibility to ensure that these public spaces remain safe, well-tended, maintained, free from litter, and generally in wonderful condition. The Town Council’s maintenance team undertakes frequent mowing of the parks throughout the summer months, maintaining trees and hedges within our parks, and daily litter picks to remove any rubbish which has been left behind by visitors. You can rest assured that our parks and gardens all receive the care that they need and are in kept in the best possible condition for you to enjoy all year round.
