Are you ready for the most wonderful time of year? Mark the start of the festive season and join us on Saturday 26th November for our annual Christmas Lights Switch On event!

Spanning across three-hours from 15:00-18:00, the event offers our community and residents from neighbouring villages an opportunity to come together in a joyous harmony.

You can expect an afternoon filled with live performances from local acts, themed roaming street characters, festive food and drink vendors, and opportunities to ice skate, meet Santa, and get a bit of early Christmas shopping in with High street retailers, small businesses, and commercial vendors.

All ages can also enjoy an inflatable Snow Globe and meet an animatronic polar bear, perfect for getting that Christmas Card photo! We will also be joined by Ellesborough Silver Band and the Ukulele Band along the High Street. Within the final hour of the event, the Princes Risborough Christmas Lights will be switched on by Kian Zomorodian as Aladdin and Melanie Elizabeth as Princess Jasmine from the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre’s pantomime performance.

The festive afternoon is the perfect opportunity for local businesses, organisations, and charities to build their own profiles and raise much needed funds for their own projects. We are currently fully-booked with an active waiting list for this event.
