International Women's Day at the Brushwood Suite

Princes Risborough Town Council is proud to welcome Risborough residents, friends, and visitors to its second International Women’s Day event at the Brushwood Suite on Friday 8 March 2024.
Join Princes Risborough Town Council for an informal evening of celebration, inspiration, and connection as guests are invited to hear from a panel of remarkable women. Speakers' presentations will be linked to the 2024 International Women’s theme of ‘Inspire Inclusion’.
Confirmed speakers include:
Debbie Brock DL - Former Mayor of Milton Keynes, Past High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire (2022-2023), a Deputy Lieutenant in Buckinghamshire.
Wing Commander Jenny Dennis - Royal Air Force High Wycombe Station Commander.
Lynda Rawsthrone - Local Resident and Government Head Of Property Profession and Director, Property Capability, Sponsorship & Standards.
The event will run from 7:00 pm with the panel starting at 7:30 pm. Each speaker will present for 15 minutes and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
This panel event is inclusive and open to all. Seated tickets can be purchased in advance from WeGotTickets for £5.50 (including booking fee) or, subject to availability, on the door for £7. All proceeds will go to a women's charity chosen by the Events and PR Committee.
