Art in the Park Winner 2023

We are delighted to announce the winner of this year's Art in the Park competition, Steven Aldus! Steven submitted "Female with Afro" which is a spray can and airbrush piece.
Steven's work is heavily influenced by his graffiti artist past (mid 1980's) and so his love of vibrant colour has always been prominent in his artwork. This particular piece is large and it measures 1.5m by 1m, in order to get the impact he felt that this side was important. It is not based on any particular person but he just lives the way it has a "vintage" feel with a modern twist.
