April Events Update

Published: 24 March 2023

Princes Risborough residents, families, and friends are invited to attend three events organised by the Town Council across the month of April.

Farmers Market - Saturday 1st April

On Saturday 1st April, join us at King George V Park on Wellington Avenue from 09:00-14:00 for another of our fantastic Farmers Markets. We will once again be joined by both fan-favourites and new vendors selling a broad range of local goodies. Hot food takeaway will also be available from Pasta and Pancakes, Really Good Sausages, and Mush & Mooch!

Residents are encouraged to collect a free packet of wildflower seeds which are available as part of the Bee Squared Project which has been organised by the Town Council in partnership with Risborough Environmental Group and the North West Chilterns Community Board.

Families are bound to be entertained by Basil and Crews Educational Mobile Farm. Basil and his crew of fluffy and furry friends will be helping all ages gain confidence at their own speed, learning how to safely interact with the present farm animals. First Steps Pre-School will also be running a themed crafts stall throughout the event.

Sit back and soak up the atmosphere whilst listening to the Black Dog Band who will be playing between 11:00-13:00.

For more information on this event please see our Events Page.

Easter Trail - Saturday 1st April to Saturday 15th April

Princes Risborough Town Council has also organised a free window art trail for accompanied children to participate in during the Easter holidays. From Saturday 1st April to Saturday 15th April friends and families of Risborough can pick up a trail leaflet from Princes Risborough Library on Bell Street.

The trail will take them along the High Street where children will need to count and note down the number of Easter eggs they can count in retailers windows. Once they have visited all sixteen stops, they can return their completed trail map to the Library in exchange for a treat bag prize. Children can complete the extra prize draw question for a chance to win an afternoon tea which has been kindly donated by Crumbs Too.
