Princes Risborough residents, families, and friends are invited to attend two wonderful events organised by the Town Council across the month of November.
On Saturday 12th November, join us at King George V Park on Wellington Avenue from 09:00-14:00 for another of our fantastic Farmers Markets. We will once again be joined by both fan-favourites and new vendors selling a broad range of local goodies inclusive of cold-pressed oils, traybakes, cured meats, cold-pressed juices, authentic Indian spice blends, artisan gins, honey, handmade pies, greek deli, and much more! Hot food takeaway will also be available from Suave Foods and The Souvlaki House.
Princes Risborough residents are encouraged to collect a free potted small tree suitable for gardens as part of the Great Big Tree Giveaway which has been organised by the Town Council Queen’s Green Canopy Team. These will be available at the Farmers Market between 10:00-13:00.
Residents will also have an opportunity to discuss town affairs that matter to them at the November Farmers Market. A Councillors Surgery will be held from 11:00-13:00 in King George V Park on Wellington Avenue. To book a 15 minute time slot with Councillors, please contact the Town Council offices in advance.
Celebrate the start of the most wonderful time of year with us along Princes Risborough High Street from 15:00-18:00 on Saturday 26th November. The community-focused event will see residents, families, and friends of Risborough gather for the return of the ice rink, Santa’s grotto, and festive live entertainment. Additional entertainment for this year include an animatronic polar bear and an inflatable snow globe, ideal for getting those festive photos!
Food and refreshments from local vendors will have a vast array to keep visitors well-fed and watered, including delicious authentic Roman style Pizza from Olivero’s UK, gluten free pasta and Dutch pancakes from Pasta and Pancakes, Greek souvlaki from The Souvlaki House, crepes and waffles from local retailer La Crepe Escape, and more.
The event will be a perfect opportunity to purchase stocking fillers and Christmas gifts from small businesses, commercial vendors, and our brilliant High Street retailers.
Within the final hour of the event, the Princes Risborough Christmas Lights will be switched on by Kian Zomorodian as Aladdin and Melanie Elizabeth as Princess Jasmine from the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre’s pantomime performance.
We would like to thank Michael Graham for their contributed support as they have proudly sponsored our Princes Risborough Christmas Lights Switch On once more. We would also like to thank Swish Fibre who have generously sponsored all of the entertainment elements sourced by the Town Council meaning all the stated entertainment will be provided free of charge to the public.
