On behalf of all residents of Princes Risborough, I want to express our sadness at the death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. We join together with the people across the Nation in sending our condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and the whole Royal Family at this sad time.
Flags in the town are already flying at half-mast and will do so until after the funeral on Saturday. We already had plans in place for books of condolences to be opened, but due to the current pandemic, these will not be used. We encourage residents who would like to share their memories or pay respects to sign Buckingham Palace’s online book of condolence.

The planned Farmer’s Market on Saturday will go ahead but will finish at 1pm. We encourage residents to pay their respects for a life of selfless service and devotion by observing the three-minute silence at 3pm ahead of the funeral.
