The Royal British Legion needs help!

LOCAL
FUNDRAISER NEEDED IN PRINCES RISBOROUGH!
Every year the
nation shows its support for the work of The Royal British Legion during our two-week
Poppy Appeal leading up to Remembrance Sunday and through our all-year-round
fundraising.
We are looking
for an organised individual, a group, club, or business to support Princes
Risborough’s Poppy Appeal. This year’s annual appeal will take place from 28th
October - 14th November.
In the year that we celebrate our centenary, the
Legion is calling on local people across Princes Risborough to
show their support for our Armed Forces – past and present – by dedicating
their spare time to raising funds for much-needed services that support
the Armed Forces community.
The Legion uses
your donations to support in so many ways including providing crisis grants,
offering the children of Armed Forces personnel adventure breaks, researching
the impact of blast injuries on the body, lobbying the government on key
issues, and advising on benefits and money problems.
If you would
like to get involved in supporting the Poppy Appeal in your local area, please contact the Community Fundraiser for
Buckinghamshire, Poonam Vaja on 07754857821 or email pvaja@britishlegion.org.uk.
The Royal British Legion’s vital work is entirely dependent on the public’s
generous support; please do get in touch to offer your support knowing that you
will be helping the Armed Forces community to live on.
