We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Cons, Scams & Cyber-crime Meeting on Thursday, 15th February, from 2.00pm at:
Marlow Infants School,
(aka Sandygate School),
Marlow SL7 3AZ.
We regard this subject as the top crime issue at present and it probably represents the vast majority of all current crime. The meeting is open to everyone, so, if you don't want to be caught out, you should be there.
Come along and learn more about cons, scams and cyber-crime to discover what action you can take to avoid becoming a victim. Everyone should be prepared and remember, the criminals are after your money.
You will be able to ask questions of the speakers. They know of the very latest scams and they want you to be aware. Being a victim of a scam can be very traumatising, particularly for the elderly.
Parking at the school is rather limited, but you can park in Sandygate Road and behind the Gweneth Court sheltered housing site.
Police and Trading Standards support for the meeting has been requested.
We look forward to seeing you there. Thank you.
